Judges also sworn in, key appointments adopted The mayor, two council members and two judges took their oaths of office today at a special ceremony at Brookhaven City Hall. State Court Judge Mike Jacobs administered the oaths of office. Mayor John Ernst was sworn into his second term as was District 1 Council Member Linley Jones. Taking the oath for her first term was Madeleine Simmons, who replaces former Council Member Bates Mattison in District 3. |
