Brookhaven invites stakeholders to participate in the Arts and Culture Community Conversations

Brookhaven, GA, Nov. 18, 2019 – The City of Brookhaven and the Brookhaven Arts Advisory Committee have launched a seven-month planning effort to look at current arts and cultural offerings, place Brookhaven with the regional arts and cultural context, and examine best practices to form strategic recommendations.

As a part of a multi-faceted public outreach campaign, the City is asking residents and the greater Brookhaven community to participate in community conversations to determine what kinds of arts and culture activities residents would like to see more of, which could include but not limited to; arts, dance, music, murals, food, classes, sculpture, festivals, etc.

The English language presentation will be held Wednesday, Nov. 20 at the Lynwood Community Center, 3360 Osborne Road NE in Brookhaven at 6:30 p.m. (Doors open at 6)

The Spanish language presentation will be held Thursday, Nov. 21 at the Salvation Army Atlanta Temple, 2090 North Druid Hills Rd NE in Brookhaven at 6:30 p.m. (Doors open at 6)

In addition, the City is asking residents and the greater Brookhaven community to weigh in by taking an online survey and signing up to receive ongoing updates.
