Swimming Pools and Spas - Commercial
To apply for commercial construction of a swimming pool or spa, please login to the Project Portal to complete all information for the application and upload your project plans.
The following is required for all commercial Swimming Pool and/or Spa construction permits:
- Site Plan
- Land disturbance > 5,000 sf requires an approved site plan from a corresponding LDP
- See Land Development Applications and Checklists for more information
- Land disturbance < 5,000 sf - see Comprehensive Building Permit Checklist
- Indicate location of fence and pool equipment
- Cross - section
- Related plumbing from pool to pool equipment
- Related electrical components including but not limited to; pool lights, pool equipment, disconnect, pump size, and rating source of power
- Equipotential system & barrier and /or alarm requirements
- Land disturbance > 5,000 sf requires an approved site plan from a corresponding LDP
- Authorized Agent Form
- Contractor Registration Form (if applicable)
- DeKalb County Watershed Management Approval (routing instructions will be sent after permit acceptance)
- DeKalb County Health Department Approval
