New Single-Family Home - Residential

To apply for residential construction of a new single-family home, please login to the Project Portal to complete your application and upload project plans. 

The following is required for all New Single-Family construction permits:

  • Site Plan 
  • Residential Plan Review Data Sheet (click here to access)
  • Construction Drawings (must be to scale) including: 
    • Elevations
    • All rooms labeled as to use
    • Electrical Schematic
    • If located in RS, R3, or RSA zoning district, must include EVSE infrastructure to accommodate future installation of EVSE per Sec.27-698(a)(4)
    • Structural drawings including floor and roof framing
    • Stamped drawings for engineered building components
  • Authorized Agent Form 
  • Contractor Registration Form (if applicable)
  • DeKalb County Easement Approval (routing instructions will be sent after permit acceptance)
  • DeKalb County Sewer Capacity Letter (routing instructions will be sent after permit acceptance)
