Brookhaven, GA, Aug. 25, 2021 – Residents will have a chance to meet the team behind the Brookhaven City Centre master plan process at a series of pop ups taking place in September at the City’s weekly Wednesday food truck event in Blackburn Park.
“We invite everyone to come out, learn more about the City Centre planning process and provide feedback while also enjoying one of Brookhaven’s most popular events,” said Community Development Director Linda Abaray.
Residents can also take a new survey at https://sycamore.mysocialpinpoint.com/brookhaven.
The City began the input process with a round of public meetings and a socially distant “drop-in center” in December 2020, along with the interactive project website that included an initial survey, a public forum and an interactive mapping tool. The website also contains background information, results from the first survey, and community engagement summaries.
The pop ups are taking place at the Wednesday food truck events on Sept. 1, 8, and 29 from 6 to 9 p.m. in Blackburn Park, 3493 Ashford Dunwoody Road, at the north end of the park near the pavilion and bordering the playground.
