City to host public meetings for Comprehensive Plan 5-year update

FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE

Brookhaven, GA, Jan. 18, 2019 – The City of Brookhaven’s Community Development Department will host a series of public meetings for five-year Comprehensive Plan update, required by the Georgia Department of Community Affairs.

The following meetings will take place at Brookhaven City Hall, 4362 Peachtree Road:

• Wednesday, Feb. 6, 5 p.m.: Steering Committee Meeting (Planning Commission)
• Thursday, March 28, 6 p.m.: Community Involvement Meeting #1
• Thursday, April 25, 6 p.m.: Community Involvement Meeting #2

The Brookhaven City Council adopted the Comprehensive Plan 2034 in 2014 and the Character Area Study Supplement in 2017. The Comprehensive Plan documents the long-term vision for the City, and is a collaborative effort of Brookhaven residents, elected officials, consultants and staff.
