Addition or Accessory Structure - Commercial

To apply for the construction of an addition or accessory structure, please login to the Project Portal to complete all information for the application and upload your project plans. 

The following is required for all Addition and/or Accessory Structure construction permits:

• Site Plan 
  • Land disturbance  > 5,000 sf requires an approved site plan from a corresponding LDP
    • See Land Development Applications and Checklists for more information
  • Land disturbance  < 5,000 sf - see Comprehensive Building Permit Checklist 
• Sealed Construction Drawings including: 
  • Structural drawings
  • MEPs
  • Stamped drawings for engineered building components
• DeKalb County Watershed Management Approval (routing instructions will be sent after permit acceptance if applicable)
• Authorized Agent Form 
• Contractor Registration Form (if applicable)
