DeKalb North Fork Peachtree Creek Trunk Sewer Upsizing Project

Project Components

• Replacing and/or upgrading of approximately 5,500 linear feet of gravity sewer ranging in diameters from 6 to 30 inches.
• Crossing underneath Buford Highway, and 3 other roadways.
• Abandoning aged infrastructure adjacent to propose trunk sewer.

Project Location: Section A: From at the confluence of Peachtree Creek North Fork and one of its tributaries immediately north of Briarwood Road NE to east of the intersection of Cotswold Drive and Cove Circle

Project Schedule

• Project Development: 2023-2024
• Construction Begins: 2025
• Substantial Completion: 2028

Project Status

DeKalb DWM awarded the design to Barge Design Solutions in March 2023. Final design is scheduled to be completed in June 2024. Construction is estimated to begin in 2024 and will be completed in approximately 3 years.
