Highlights of Parks Capital Improvement Projects

The City of Brookhaven is home to more than 300 acres of the most beautiful parkland in Metro Atlanta. With aquatics, hiking, sports facilities and playgrounds, Brookhaven’s parks truly offer something for everyone.

In November 2018, voters passed the Parks Bond referendum to authorize up to $40 million in capital improvements to Brookhaven parks and facilities.

The Park Bond Oversight Committee has met monthly since its first meeting in March 2019. Each session has focused on different parks and projects with updates on progress from Jacobs (Parks Bond Program Manager) and design firms Clark Patterson Lee (CPL) and Lose Design.
