Brookhaven’s Bark in the Park on June 1 is like Spring Break for pets

Brookhaven Bark in the Park

Brookhaven, GA, May 10, 2019 – Is your pet hounding you to get out of the house and to the dog park? If so, head to Brookhaven Park, 4158 Peachtree Road, on June 1 for the fifth annual celebration of all things canine at Brookhaven’s popular Bark in the Park. Activities will run from 10 a.m.-1 p.m.

The event is designed specifically for dogs of all shapes and sizes and will feature, among other things, doggy cool down stations, music and the Bad Ferret Lure Chasing course. A host of pet vendors will be on hand offering advice and services, pet accessories and pet-related signs and decorations. Vendors scheduled include Bark & Board, Mint Creative Photography, Little Donkey Supply Co., Luckie Street Project, PetWants Sandy Springs, The Pet Resorts, Fun Fleece, Buckhead Pet Pals and Pup N Cuts.

For everyone’s protection, all dogs should be leashed.

“People love bringing their pets to Bark in the Park,” says Brookhaven Parks and Recreation Director Brian Borden. “It’s a great way for local pets and owners to meet, mix and mingle in one of Atlanta’s premier dog parks. It’s a fun event for the entire family.”
