The improvements, designed by Lose Designs based on input from residents and local swim teams, will include a new zero-entry pool with spray features for play. A portion of the pool will transition into a 75-foot long six-lane competition section that will be used by swim teams that operate out of the park. A nearby “cool surface” pool deck will feature a new pavilion, bleachers, and umbrellas for shade. The new 4,000 square-foot pool house will contain restrooms, locker rooms, concessions, ticket office and a lifeguard room. Jacobs Engineering Group Inc., an Atlanta technical professional services firm, will be in charge of the day-to-day work on the project.
