Brookhaven, GA, Sept. 9, 2019 – The public is invited to join Mayor John Ernst for his monthly town hall meeting on Thursday, Sept. 19, from 6 to 7 p.m. at the Latin American Association, Auditorium #3, at 2750 Buford Hwy NE in Brookhaven.
The town hall meeting is one of Brookhaven’s featured events during Welcoming Week (Sept. 13-22) and Hispanic Heritage Month (Sept. 15 – Oct. 15). The topic will be Diversity and Inclusion in the City of Brookhaven and will include an open forum question-and-answer session with Mayor Ernst and other Brookhaven officials.
“Given that this monthly town hall meeting falls between two very important immigration awareness events, I believe that this is a unique opportunity to bring the meeting to the people to discuss Brookhaven’s emphasis on diversity and inclusion,” said Mayor John Ernst. “I appreciate the partnership of the Latin American Association in assisting the City to serve the community.”
