District 3 Councilwoman hosting ‘Mondays With Madeleine’ virtual town hall on Aug. 31

Brookhaven, GA, Aug. 24, 2020 – The public is invited to join District 3 Councilwoman Madeleine Simmons for the August edition of her “Mondays With Madeleine” town hall, taking place the last Monday of each month.

This month’s town hall will be virtual due to the COVID-19 pandemic and shelter-in-place guidelines. It will be held Monday, Aug. 31, from 6 to 7 p.m. via video conference, and will be broadcast on Facebook Live on the City’s Facebook page at www.Facebook.com/BrookhavenGAgov. 

This month’s event will also feature Mayor John Ernst.

“‘In addition to District 3 updates, please join me and Mayor Ernst for a discussion regarding the proposed traffic light at Ellijay and Green Meadows included in the Connolly project,” said Councilwoman Simmons.

The public will be able to weigh in, ask questions and interact by typing comments into the Facebook Live comment section, or sending an email to PublicComment@BrookhavenGA.gov.  In addition, another method to interact is joining the Zoom meeting by clicking the following link:
