Brookhaven, GA, April 21, 2020 – The public is invited to join District 3 Councilwoman Madeleine Simmons for the debut of her “Mondays With Madeleine” town hall, taking place the last Monday of each month.
This month’s town hall will be virtual due to the COVID-19 pandemic and shelter-in-place guidelines. It will be held Monday, April 27, from 6 to 7 p.m. via video conference, and will be broadcast on Facebook Live on the City’s Facebook page at www.Facebook.com/BrookhavenGAgov.
This month’s event will also include District 2 Councilman John Park.
“My focus on Council is serving the needs and fulfilling the vision of our residents. This includes improving Brookhaven Park to its full potential, prioritizing the acquisition and cultivation of greenspace, addressing traffic concerns and continuing the conversations on affordable housing and infrastructure improvements,” said Simmons. “No topic is off the table; I want to know how I can best represent our residents on the Council.”
The public will be able to weigh in, ask questions and interact by typing comments into the Facebook Live comment section, or sending an email to PublicComment@BrookhavenGA.gov.
