City Council wrap-up of the May 12 virtual meeting

Brookhaven, GA, May 13, 2020 – The Brookhaven City Council acted on several items in its May 12 business meeting, held via video conference, with public input offered through email and by online comments on Facebook Live.  The action items are as follows:

  • The Mayor and Council unanimously approved the consent agenda to approve minutes of the April 28 virtual meeting.
  • The Council unanimously approved a resolution accepting the Buford Highway Transit Evaluation Report and amending the Comprehensive Transportation Plan and the Buford Highway Improvement Master Plans accordingly.
  • The Council unanimously approved a contract with Construction 57 Inc. to construct the Windsor/Osborne Roundabout in the amount of $725,000.
  • The Council unanimously approved a contract with the Corbett Group, LLC for construction of Phase III South Bamby drainage improvements in the amount of $544,800.
