City Council wrap-up for the Jan. 11 meeting

Brookhaven, GA, Jan. 12, 2022 – The Brookhaven City Council acted on several items in its Jan. 11 meeting: 

  • The Mayor and City Council unanimously approved the appointment of Larry Williams to the Brookhaven Development Authority.
  • The Mayor and Council unanimously approved a consent agenda which included:
    • The minutes of the Dec. 14 Work Session and Regular Meeting.
    • Approval to surplus K-9 Spock from the Brookhaven Police Department.
    • The Council unanimously approved a recommendation for the adoption of the Buford Highway Cultural Corridor resolution.
  • The Council unanimously approved a change order to Gresham Smith for the preparation of a safety and operational intersection study for Dresden Drive.
  • The Council unanimously approved a contract amendment with Comprehensive Program (CPS) for the Public Safety Building.
