City Council virtual meeting on Jan. 11

Brookhaven, GA, Jan. 14, 2022 – The Brookhaven City Council will conduct its next regularly scheduled business meeting Tuesday, Jan. 11, at 7 p.m.  In consideration of recent increases in Covid-19 cases, the meeting will be held via video conference.

In order to ensure transparency and accountability, the public will continue to be able to weigh in during Public Hearings and Public Comment by any of the following options:

A live stream of the meeting can be viewed on the City’s website at www.BrookhavenGA.gov (under the City Hall tab, go to “Agendas and Minutes”) and on Facebook Live at www.Facebook.com/BrookhavenGAgov

The Jan. 11 business meeting contains the following for City Council consideration:

  • The appointment of Larry Williams to the Brookhaven Development Authority.
  • A public comment availability.
     
  • A consent agenda which includes:
    • The minutes of the Dec. 14 Work Session and Regular Meeting.
    • Approval to surplus K-9 Spock from Brookhaven Police Department
  • A recommendation for the adoption of the Buford Highway Cultural Corridor Resolution.
  • A change order to Gresham Smith for the preparation of a safety and operational intersection study for Dresden Drive
  • A resolution to approve a contract amendment with Comprehensive Program (CPS) for the Public Safety Building.
