City Council virtual meeting on Feb. 22

Brookhaven, GA, Feb. 22, 2022 – The Brookhaven City Council will conduct its next regularly scheduled business meeting today, Feb. 22, at 7 p.m.  The meeting will be held via Zoom video conference.

In order to ensure transparency and accountability, the public will continue to be able to weigh in during Public Hearings and Public Comment by any of the following options:

The Feb. 22 business meeting contains the following for City Council consideration:

• A public comment availability.
   

• A consent agenda which includes:
  
  • The minutes of the Feb 8. Work Session and Regular Meeting
  • Murphey Candler Baseball, Inc. Facility Use Agreement.
  • Murphey Candler Girls Softball Association Facility Use Agreement.
  • Atlanta Colts Youth Association, Inc. Facility Use Agreement

• An ordinance to amend Chapter 4 of the Code of Ordinances (Alcoholic Beverages) to amend criteria for alcohol server permit applications, to amend the criteria for the issuance of an on-premises alcohol sales and consumption permit, and for other purposes.

• An amendment to the 2021 Budget to make final Budget-To-Actual Variance Adjustments.

• A request for Right-Of-Way abandonment at Apple Valley Road at Sunland Drive (1279,1283, 1287)

• A resolution re-affirming and amending the Murphey Candler Park Lake House Project as part of the Murphey Candler Park Master Plan.
