City Council virtual meeting on April 27

Brookhaven, GA, April 26, 2021 – The Brookhaven City Council will conduct its next regularly scheduled business meeting Tuesday, April 27, at 7 p.m. In consideration of social distancing recommendations by the World Health Organization, Centers for Disease Control and Prevention and State Board of Health, the meeting will be held via video conference.

In order to ensure transparency and accountability, the public will be able to weigh in during Public Hearings and Public Comment by any of the following options:

The April 27 business meeting contains the following for City Council consideration:

  • A presentation and public hearing for the Brookhaven 2021-25 Draft CDBG Consolidated Plan and 2021 Action Plan.
  • A public comment availability.
  • A consent agenda which includes:
    • The minutes of the April 13 virtual Work Session and Regular Meetings.
    • The minutes of the April 20 Special Called Town Hall Meeting Minutes.
  • A first read of an ordinance to amend the charter of the City of Brookhaven for the purpose of reapportionment.
  • The Murphey Candler Lake House Concept Plan and Parking Lot Expansion.
  • The re-affirmation and amending the Murphey Candler Park Pool Parking Lot Project as part of the Murphey Candler Park Master Plan
