City of Brookhaven Transparency

In 2015, the late Mayor Rebecca Chase Williams signed a resolution affirming the City of Brookhaven's policy to not only uphold the law of open government, but to go above and beyond those requirements because it is the right thing to do. I steadfastly stand by this resolution (which you can read in full by scrolling to the bottom of this page). The City has built this website with the intention of being an open book, so I encourage you to explore these links and let me know what you think. You can reach me at John.Park@BrookhavenGA.gov.

Happy browsing!
John Park, Mayor

With this web page the City of Brookhaven is working to raise its transparency quotient. While we already go above and beyond in following open records and open meeting laws, I believe it is a fundamental responsibility of government to let its residents and taxpayers know how we utilize our resources. This website has a lot of information already, but that can be a blessing and a burden. While the tremendous amount of information available at www.BrookhavenGA.gov is mostly a good thing, it can make it difficult for users to find exactly what they are looking for. My hope is that this page makes it a little easier. Feel free to reach out to me at Christian.Sigman@BrookhavenGA.gov with your comments, questions and suggestions.

Respectfully,
Christian Sigman, City Manager
