The Brookhaven Public Works Department is responsible for maintaining roadways, traffic signals, signs and right-of-ways in the City of Brookhaven. Public works also oversees various permits related to street closures, dumpster placements and right-of-way encroachment.

Emergency maintenance issues:

To report afterhours emergency maintenance issues, such as fallen trees or drainage problems, please call 404-637-0540, wait for prompt, then press 1.

To report a water or sewer problem, contact DeKalb County Watershed Management at 770-621-7200.

In the event of a power, gas outage, landline phone or cable outage, please use the following Emergency Dispatch Numbers for the utility companies that service the City of Brookhaven.

Important: If you suspect a gas leak in your home or business, call 911. 

 

 

Non-emergency maintenance issues:

Residents can report city issues including potholes, traffic signal timing, right-of-way maintenance, graffiti, drainage and other issues through Brookhaven Connect.  Issues are received, reviewed and prioritized daily by the public works department.
