Brookhaven kicks off record-setting paving contract for 2017
Better pavement means a smoother ride for commuters
What: Brookhaven officially kicks off the 2017 paving season with the first pouring of asphalt. In April the Brookhaven City Council approved a $%4.72 million contract for road paving, the most aggressive in City history. The 10.7 miles of resurfacing, rehabilitation or re-construction this year represents nearly 10% of all city-maintained streets.
