Brookhaven to break ground on Murphey Candler Park Open Space

WHAT: The City of Brookhaven will continue its 2017 “Year of Progress” by breaking ground on the new Open Space Field at Murphey Candler Park. The Brookhaven City Council in July approved the new, 1.9-acre open space complete with a walking trail that will run along the perimeter of the park. This open space will also be supplemented with additional seating to accommodate park-goers. The total cost of these improvements is $591,203. The work should be completed in early 2018.
